It’s been a full month (6/6 to 7/7) since the last of these weekly updates, which means we posted another of Polly’s Frequency posters (Nowness):
You may have seen this eye before as it also features in the monthly Dark Days digital detox flyer — the invitation to turn off our phones from 10am-10pm each New Moon.
During these past weeks the Everywhere map has widened to Ecovillages and deepened at Waking Life. Then last week Everywhere went to Nowhere, its muse. Or the other way around. Nowhere probably deserves its own post as the freest place on earth during those days each July. This year it featured a “Door to Everywhere” (art piece by my compadre Benny), and an Intro to Everywhere pop-up workshop, by yours truly. It was also very hot and dusty, and is going through its own process of transformation from a once-a-year occurrence on rented land to (hopefully) an ongoing community project with its own home.
Everywhere’s instagram surpassed 800 followers, and had a link URL update from every.where.now to everywhere.wow, both as a homage to Waking Life’s dedication to the Wow, and a cleaner match to everywhere.now.
We also opened a Reddit thread called Edge of Everywhere. Reddit has definite Everywhere vibes — lots of sharing of ideas, lots of advice and exchange, not so much advertising/commercialization. The hope is that this thread can turn into an active forum for convos on Everywhere and that which lies beyond, aka EORS (edge of reality shit). Nowhere becomes the genesis, Everywhere the present moment, and EORS the mission to explore the ever-expanding unknown.
EORS will soon have a physical location in Lisbon, like Everywhere via the Origem of Everywhere Market. Ground first, then shoot the moon. ;)
